Meet the Artist

Hi, I am Lauren Forsyth, the maker, creator, and sole artist behind the Cozy Stitches Guild.

While the word "Guild" might sound like a large company, it is actually just me! What started as a deep, personal love for crochet and artisan crafting has blossomed into this creative space. I am a true one-woman show: I drive the artistic direction, crochet every single amigurumi piece, hand-pour all the natural soap, and carefully package every order that leaves my studio.

While I don't have years and years of experience, I definitely don't consider myself an amateur at all. I've been crocheting for over two years now, and have discovered a huge passion for it, and I hope we can share that passion together!

My Story

I started the Cozy Stitches Guild simply because I love working with yarn and making things by hand. Over time, it grew from a personal hobby in my studio into a dedicated space where I can share my original crochet amigurumi, hand-poured soaps, and patterns directly with you. My goal is to offer high-quality, handmade items and provide the practical resources you need to build your own crafting skills.

What I Create

  • Amigurumi: Adorable, stuffed crocheted creations made stitch-by-stitch with love and care.

  • Artisan Soap: Small-batch soaps hand-poured using nourishing, natural ingredients.

  • Cozy Blogs: My personal articles filled with original patterns, fiber arts tips, and tricks.

  • Tutorials: Step-by-step videos and walkthroughs to guide your own crafting journey.

My Mission

My goal is to make well-crafted handmade goods and provide straightforward, reliable resources for other makers. Whether you are purchasing a finished piece or looking for a pattern to learn a new skill, I want to give you the practical tools you need to keep creating. Lastly, I want this space to feel like a cozy, welcoming home for your creative spirit!

When you shop here, you are directly supporting an independent artist's dream.

Thank you for being part of my journey!
